Rossi rules at home

Seven-time world champion Valentino Rossi won the San Marino Grand Prix at Misano yesterday ahead of team-mate Jorge Lorenzo, but the talking point of the day was Casey Stoner crashing out again on the Ducati. Yet again, Stoner did it all alone, losing the machine in a corner probably due to just pushing the tyres over the limit of their physics.

Rossi's win equals Giacomo Agostini's record of 68 victories in the top Moto GP category. Rossi now leads the world championship standings by 75 points with just five races left, and it appears at the moment, that Stoner is not coping with the pressure of chasing. And time is running out.
